The Automated Dispensing System enables precision droplet formation for high repeatability and ease-of-use. In-software control supported with DROPimage Pro or DROPimage Advanced.

The tilting base enables the measurement of advancing and receding contact angle, contact angle hysteresis, and roll-off angle. In-software control is supported in DROPimage Advanced. A manual option that is compatible with all models also available upon request.
Compatible instruments: Automated Tilting Base: 250, 260, 290, 500, 590 (Model 190 and Model 210 are compatible with upgrade to DROPimage Advanced as well)

Camera and optics upgrades for new and existing instruments
We offer camera upgrade kits for high-speed imaging, 2x optical zoom or 4x optical zoom, and overhead imaging.
We also offer legacy upgrade kits that replace previous-generation cameras with our current-generation camera to enable compatibility with current-generation PCs and improved performance. Legacy upgrade kits include a current-generation PC and the most recent version of your edition of DROPimage pre-installed. These kits require your instrument to be shipped to our facility for installation.
Compatible instruments: New instruments other than the Model 90 can be upgraded with performance optics kits. Some kits require a software upgrade. All models, including analog and manual instruments, can be upgraded with a current-generation camera.

The Oscillator adds a repeatable motion profile that can enable measurement of dilatational viscoelasticity and interfacial rheology. Supported with the Automated Dispensing System and in-software control in DROPimage Advanced.

Refer to the table below for information about our various cells and chambers. Chambers for environmental control support temperature control up to 0.1°C precision via a proportional or advanced temperature controller. In-software temperature control and logging is available in DROPimage Advanced. Otherwise, temperatures are controlled through controller inputs. In-software humidity control and logging is also available in DROPimage Advanced. Stages for liquid/liquid studies and a temperature logger for non-ramé-hart chambers are also available.

Wafer Supports
Supports for wafers and larger flat samples
Wafer-handling accessories are intended for semiconductor and other flat technical samples where alignment, support, and contamination control matter. They help keep the sample stable while preserving the test surface for accurate readings. Our wafer supports are hand-lapped for a high degree of flatness and include a rotating stage plate with graduated 1° increments. Wafers are available in diameters of 4", 6", 8", 10", and 12". A vacuum chuck is also available for 6" and 8" supports for sample securement.
Compatible instruments: All instruments support the 4" wafer support. The Model 400 supports up to 8" (the 8" wafer support is included with this model). The Model 500 and 590 support up to 12" wafer supports.
